What Do Clients Say
"We have used Alex to create various marketing materials for our new website. He's attended weddings and corporate events, shot all day and been an absolute joy to work alongside. He always smashes the brief, produces very high quality clips and is extremely responsive to any feedback. (That's if we have any at all.) He's got the vision we didn't know we needed, and we wouldn't go anywhere else."
DAISY COX * URBAN SPACE MANAGEMENT

He delivered high-quality content quickly, handled the fast-paced environment with ease, and got exactly what we needed.
Professional, efficient, and great to work with, I'd highly recommend."

A brilliant person to work with as well,
which is what it’s all about."

I’m Alex, a videographer based in Essex with over 13 years of experience creating video and photo content for household brands and leading UK event companies.
My first year of freelancing as a videographer in 2013 was spent in buzzy atmospheres of nightlife and London awards shows. There I also learnt to 'absorb' my surroudings, find the angles in a split second all while staying discrete and making constant technical adjustments...
It's a pace I thrive within.
In the years since I'm proud to have created campaign films for Decathlon UK, Coca Cola and John Lewis. I've had pinch me moments on the red carpet filming for Vyra at the Rolling Stone and the Attitude Awards. I've loved the journey so far and thank all of our amazing clients for the trust and the opportunities that keep coming.
Today I work primarily as a director-shooter-editor, often directly with a company's marketing team or founder.
We have scale up options based on the scope and what's right for the project. We also work with a select number of agencies on some [heavily NDA'd] amazing projects.

Frequently Asked Questions
Absolutely! Pre-production is where a great video takes shape, and getting the concept right from the start makes all the difference. I help guide the creative process, ensuring the idea aligns with your goals and resonates with your audience.
With experience in storytelling and an eye on industry trends, I offer insight to shape the most effective approach. Whether you need a concept built from scratch or just a little creative direction, I make sure we’re aligned early on so the final video feels both intentional and impactful.
I also work with agencies (yes, white label too!) to bring fully developed ideas to life with a cinematic touch. I've shot and edited big campaigns for FTSE 100 companies under the radar, but I won't name names for NDA's sake.
Every project is different and pricing reflects the scope and number of deliverables required.
For event recaps for example, we offer structured packages starting at £1,200, with costs varying based on filming time, edit length, and crew requirements.
Our content subscriptions begin at £1,750 per month, requiring a minimum of a 3-month commitment to deliver a consistent and strategic content rollout across stills and polished video clips.
The best way to get an accurate estimate is to get in touch—we’ll provide a bespoke quote tailored to your project’s needs.
Timelines vary depending on the scope of the project, but here’s a general breakdown:
- Pre-production typically takes a few weeks (we like a bit of notice before we pick up tools!), including an initial meeting, completing a brand or event profile and refining the plan. This phase may involve securing locations, booking talent, or even creating a phone-shot pre-vis edit to ensure alignment and get the creative sign off.
- Production can be as short as a single day or extend up to a week for more complex shoots across multiple locations with additional crew members.
- Post-production for shorter projects is usually completed within 7 working days, while more intricate edits with multiple deliverables may take 2-3 weeks from the shoot date.
For event coverage, I guarantee a polished first draft within one week of the shoot date and an add-on speedy turnaround option for those time sensitive release schedules.
I use high-quality full-frame mirrorless cameras that deliver exceptional image quality, perform well in low light (ideal for events) and support high-resolution 6K and 4K recording in various frame rates. These cameras are versatile enough for agile, gimbal-mounted shots or fully cine-rigged setups for more complex productions.
Beyond cameras, I have a full suite of professional gear, including monitors and mounts, pro-grade microphones (wired and wireless), autocue systems, lighting, and other tools to bring creative concepts to life.
If a project requires specialized equipment beyond my in-house kit, I source from trusted rental houses to ensure the best tools for the job.
Honestly, I rarely provide raw footage with the exception of digital agencies that require it for their own in-house post-production. For most projects, the final video is carefully crafted through editing, color grading, and sound design to achieve a polished, cohesive result.
That being said, if you need access to additional material, my ‘Selects’ deliverable add-on offers all usable A & B-roll from your project—fully color-graded, sound mixed and formatted in various aspect ratios. This is perfect for in-house reels, social media content, or marketing posts that need high-quality video to drive engagement. The only thing I ask is that my existing edit work stays intact, no quick-fix filters or redubbing sound please!
I also keep all project files archived, both in the cloud and on physical backup drives. If you ever want to refresh your website, update a hero film, or repurpose footage, I can retrieve the original files to maintain consistency and quality.
